At Urban Air Lake Grove, there\u2019s nothing more important than our customers and our community. We are all about empowering kids to try new things, explore through adventurous places, and learn how to work with others to achieve new heights.

\r\nWe've committed to supporting the CAR T Research program<\/a><\/strong> at Stony Brook Medicine<\/a><\/strong>, which supports scientists working on developing personalized cell therapy to treat blood cancers, such as leukemia. In 2020, we announced a pledge of $100,000 to the center.

\r\nFounder Dave Wolmetz (pictured, blue shirt and hat) was diagnosed with Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) in 2018 and underwent total body radiation and chemotherapy treatment at the Stony Brook University Cancer Center. Dave lost his battle in 2023.
