Urban Air CEO and Founder selected alongside rising stars in the North Texas business community
Urban Air Adventure Park, the world’s preeminent indoor adventure park, today announced Chief Executive Officer and Founder Michael Browning has been named a 2021 “40 Under 40” rising star by the Dallas Business Journal. Browning is recognized among other rising stars in industries such as retail, nonprofits, health care, real estate, construction, legal, finance, transportation, technology, manufacturing, esports, marketing, logistics, and design.
“I am honored to be included on this year’s list, which represents the hard work and determination of not only myself, but the entire Urban Air team. I am extremely proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish this year as we continue our efforts to provide kids with a safe environment to help them learn, play, and grow, while also keeping our franchisees, employees, and guests healthy and safe,” said Browning.
Browning founded Urban Air in 2011 in Southlake, Texas with the philosophy of kids ‘aiming higher’ and the goal to create magical moments, devoid of computer and phone screens, where a kid can feel free. Since the Company’s founding, Browning has remained committed to his mission, evolving the brand in to the largest adventure park operator in the world, with more than 200 locations now open or under development.
The 15th annual Dallas Business Journal ’40 Under 40’ awards honors those who have served as exceptional leaders this past year. Honorees represent companies from a variety of sizes and stages, a reflection of the diversity of industry and entrepreneurship that comprises North Texas’ business ecosystem. This year’s 40 Under 40 Awards winners will be honored at a virtual event on July 20.
